Eco Printing Workshop

This workshop is designed to dip your toe into eco-printing.  All equipment and materials will be provided for you to create and take away a couple of fabric panels and samples along with your new skills to try in your own time.

The class size is small to ensure you have enough support to understand the techniques.  We aim to provide a friendly environment where you can experiment and learn.

The day will be split into two parts

Part 1 – Eco–printing 

We will share with you the principles of eco printing using leaves and other organic materials. This technique is renowned for the anticipation of the unknown and after many years of doing this I still can’t wait to see my results.

Part 2 - Easy stitch embellishment

We will show you how to take a few simple hand stitches and work them onto your ecoprint fabric.  We only have a short time so expect to create samples and not a masterpiece.

This workshop is from 10.00am til 4.30pm and will be held at the Blackbird Shack Studio just outside Berkswell.
