Tea Cup Bunny workshop (2026)

In the workshop you will be guided through creating a lovely little baby Rabbit from wire, fabric and thread.
Using a free and lively hand stitching approach you will add fabric and threads over a wire frame and bring your bunny to life.  This will be done using a layered process where small tweaks can make all the difference to your final piece.

The focus will be on the key elements which make it unique, to give life and movement rather than striving for an exact representation.
In this relaxed workshop you will follow a step by step process and have enough time to learn all the techniques in class needed to complete your rabbit in your own time.

Whilst you do not need to be an expert stitcher to participate in this fun workshop, there is a benefit if you have a creative attitude and happy to learn something new.  Expect to be learning new skills which will challenge you and improve with practice.

Medium used

This is textile art where you will use wire along with various fabrics and threads, some hand dyed, some reclaimed and recycled

Materials provided

The wire and any fabric and threads required to create your little rabbit.

Participants should bring

Small sharp scissors, pins and a thimble (if you like using one)
